Objective:
Music Theory Cottage is a programme for music students to understand fundamentals of music theory in a fun and addictive way!
Covering Grades 1 through 5, it explores the musical elements in the theory topics covered in grade exams by UK-based music organizations and does it through the use of computer software in exercises and musical
games that compel students to "beat the score" while mastering theory concepts of their level.
Many researches done have found that usage of game-based lessons on computers can heavily engage students to explore music concepts learnt, by themselves.
Students will still transfer their understanding to the necessary "pencil and paper" input on theory test papers as well as exercises in preparation for music theory examinations, but not without first having FUN with game-based lessons on the particular music concepts!!
